Can The New City Clerk Figure Out How To Use MS Word?

Ok, so Anchorage has hired a new clerk.  Is it too much to ask that the new clerk crack the cutting edge technology that is MS Word?  Don't worry. This isn't going to be a long rant, and this isn't huge issue, but it does bother me.

For the last three months, I have been getting press releases from Anchorage's city clerk.  I have posted one of them as the picture in this article and have attached two more below.  Do you see anything peculiar?  Yup, that's right - they are crooked.  All of them are crooked.

This is the CITY CLERK!  You know, the person in charge of taking minutes and keeping records straight.  One would like to think they could figure out how to create a letterhead, type a memo, and save their work as a PDF.  That is all it would take to fix this problem.  It would appear the collective talent and brain power of the clerk and her staff were not equal to the task.

We now have a new city clerk taking over, and the Assembly is hiring a new deputy clerk.  Can I simply request the new clerk show some attention to detail, and, when hiring the new deputy clerk, the Assembly ask, "Do you know how to use MS Word?"

Sad as it is to say, that would represent a significant upgrade over the outgoing staff.
